First time in her hide

I've had my JCP for just over a month now and she's never gone into her hide. She always sleeps behind or on top of it but this morning I walked into the room and nearly had a heart attack thinking she got out. Searched the whole apartment looking for her and interrogated the dog (as you do).
The last place I expected to find her was in her hide so yeah I was four hours late to work today!:unhappy:

Ive actually done the same thing before but i interrogated my cat instead! Good news is that she went in the hide you provide him/her

Hah :D Yea good idea to check hides first, and hiding under substrate is always a good way to 'lose' a snake!

She never goes in her hide, she had her own little routine going and she broke it. Every night she wakes up and comes to the glass to watch me watch tv for an hour or so then she loses interest and explores her cage. After a while she will relax on her favourite branch on the heated side of the cage. Then I go to bed and find her sleeping behind or on top of her hide. We had a good thing going but nooooooo she had to change and give me a heart attack
