View Full Version : Think my Carpets can take small rats now?

They are both 48", although the IJ is slightly thicker and has a larger head I want to bump them both up to small rats. Any input would be appreciated. Both are on weaned rats and they've never had mice. :) Im asking because I see so many feeding larger prey to carpets and just wondering if theyd be good with that.

Yes. If they really are 48" they can probably take larger.

carpets can take prey 3,4,5, times their girth without issues.....

your carpet will take small ratswith ease mate

The IJ downed the small without hesitation. Probably going to wait a few more feedings for the coastal. I appreciate the replies a lot. Thanks.
