I was told that my python was born in July, making it 4 months old... but it seems small to me for 4 months.

When I got it home it got scared when I would try to feed it a small mouse, so for several feeds it would eat large pinkies. Finally today it was comfortable enough to eat a small mouse.

I've attached a picture so maybe those of you that raise them can advise on if her age is legit, or if not what it might be. Thanks.

Hi I too have just got a female baby ball that was born in July, she does look the same size as yours in the photo So I would take it she is 4 months old. Hope this helps

Hello!

Mine is supposed to be 6 months old (and I am willing to believe that!) and he's roughly the same size as yours and weighs 210 grams. He get's a rat fuzzy (about 20g) every 5 days.

Seeing that yours was scared of eating a small mouse, could mean that she has been fed pinkies only so far and that would explain why she's small-ish. So it's perfectly possible that yours is indeed four months old. Now she gets bigger meals she will also grow faster.
And let's not forget that each snake grows at a different rate :)
