New (hi!!) need help with my rescued boa!

Hi! I'm Mew and I just rescued a boa from someone who didn't know much about them at all. She is almost completely blind.

Long story short, she's attempting to recover from mites, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the aftermath of this severe of an infestation?
I'll try to post a picture, but she doesn't seem to like the camera as much as my other snakes, lol.

Also, I've heard of using some sort of oil for her eyes. Has anyone heard anything like that?

Mew, the first step is to make sure the new arrival is carefully quarantined from any current pet reptiles.

Second, make sure the mites are well and truly gone. Did the prior owner verify this? Did they give you any vet or care records showing how treatment was done? Especially if you kepy any furnishings, a second wave of mites can come back as eggs hatch, causing the cycle to repeat all over again. Look up a product called "Provent a Mite," just in case.

Three, is the blindness caused by mites, bad sheds, or something else? Treatment -- if even possible -- will vary widely dpeending on cause.

A pict or three would help as well.
