I lost him somewhere in my house. he may have gotten in or under house . was wondering if its a good idea to buy some mice and put them in a small cage to lure him out of hiding ? will appreciate any help or ideas. thank you:)

How cold is it where you live? I would search in a quiet, warm, dark place for the snake in the day time, but at night time the snake could be out wandering so it might not be a bad idea to set your alarm for midnight or so and give a good search with the lights off and a flashlight.

If it's 60F or below outside of the structure of your house I would imagine it wouldn't stray too far away, but if it's hot outside it might just venture off so you should be searching very well right now!

If you have any dogs or cats in the house you might want to be careful, they could hurt the snake if they find it first.

Not sure if the mouse thing would work or not but possibly could if the snake hasn't fed in a while...I would be trying everything I could think of if I was you, hope the situation gets better for you!
