I wanted to post some new pics of Namira to show how much she has grown and to show her tub so I snapped some pics while I was feeding her. The black thing is a piece of plastic landscaping sheet, I bought a big roll of it for like $1.50 I put newspaper under it, the snakes seem to like it.

Why don't you have a proper substrate? How can the snake burrow? There really should be a warm and a cold hide too. Do you manage to keep humidity up without substrate?

Yeah, I name my reptiles after deities from the TES series.

You're so called "proper substrate" is messy and unnecessary. That is the reason I bought the black landscaping sheet to give her something to hide under, plus once a week I can just take it out and throw it away like the newspaper. I did have two hides in the tub but she never used the cold hide so I took it out when I put the landscaping sheet in. Yes, the humidity is fine, she just finished shedding Friday(9/19/14) and shed in one piece, otherwise I would give her a larger water bowl, which I plan to do when she gets larger anyways.
