View Full Version : Age/size progression
Had the critters out today to clean cages. Snapped a few pics of my tiger retic. He's 50%sd, 25%dwarf, 25% mainland. Whoa that's a mouthful! First pic was taken last November, second was taken today.

I would just call it 75% dwarf to make it easy. For example I have a 37.5% SD 37.5% Jamp 25% mainland and I just say 75% SuperJamp, people know what you're talking about and I'm always willing to offer clarification if they ask and it's handy to keep the info around should you ever need it when selling babies. I love seeing progression shots. Very colorful tiger.

Lookin Good!!!
Yeah I wondered the best way to shorten that up. Good to know. It's crazy to see how much he's grown. I don't notice it, seeing him every day. But last time my girlfriend was over and I had him out to clean his tub, she couldn't believe how big he'd gotten. It's amazing.

He looks like he could be my Columbus's brother. Same genetics too, just much younger.
Columbus must be a handsome fella! Lol

He most certainly is, although he can be a bit of a prick sometimes. Shortly after this picture was taken he tried to push the computer off of the desk.

A bit over five.
Very cool. What's in the planted enclosure? It looks really nice. Is it bioactive or just planted?

A pair of Peacock Day Geckos. It's bioactive, but since they poop on the walls it still needs to be cleaned more often than it would otherwise.
Those are so neat. How are they to take care of? I've always wanted a pair. Beautiful geckos.

Mine get a diet of crickets, roaches, papaya, mango, honey, agave nectar, and Pangaea powdered diets. I tried Repashy's day gecko formula at first but they didn't eat it very well, they like the Pangaea a little bit better, especially if I mix in some honey or agave nectar.
Very cool. Something like this is far down the road for me but I'm definitely going to end up with either a pair of these or a pair of tokay geckos.

Tokays are awesome. Just don't give them PVC tubes for hides as they act as megaphones when they bark. My ex had some and we would be in bed and holy cow were they annoying.
Lol aside from there beauty and pissy attitude, their vocals are what draws me. My buddy had a huge enclosure with a trio and they would bark and make all kinds of noise. I always loved them as a hands off species. But Peacock geckos are really starting to interest me. Just so gorgeous.

Beautiful Tiger, Just picked up one myself but he's all mainland :)
Yeah unfortunately Ohio laws keep a mainland out of reach financially. But honestly every time I don't have to clean up mainland size poop, I'm less upset about it lol.
