I'm trying to find the right size heat mat for me. I've read it needs to cover about one-third of the viv. The base of my viv is 24 x 18 inches, so that'd mean that I have to find a heat mat of about 18 x 8 inches. However, I can't seem to find any in that particular size. The ones I can find are either 17 x 11 inches or 17 x 6 inches. Which one of these would be better suited for a corn?

I would get the 17x11 and use a thermostat.

I like to have too much heat available but not run it a the max efficiency so if I ever need to turn it up, I can.

I think I will be getting both the Komodo Advanced Heat Mat 22W (410mm x 274mm) and I'm looking into getting the Habistat Max 300W, though I can't find any being sold in Dutch online stores, so maybe I'll be looking into something else.

So, I've done some research on thermostats and it seems that when you're using heatmats, pulse thermostats are generally preferred. I've tried looking around for a Habistat Pulse-Proportional Thermostat 600W, though without any success.
However, I did find a Komodo pulse 600W Thermostat. Has anyone ever used these and know if they're any good?
