Russian Rat Snake Progression

So I got a pair of Russian rats a year ago at the fire expo. These guys are quickly becoming some of my favorites. They eat great, they are super curious, and their temperament is awesome. They have never shown any kind of aggressive behavior at all. Not even as little as a tail rattle when they were hatchlings. After having these guys, I really can't help but wonder why these aren't more popular.

Those are pretty neat looking :) How big do they get?

In my opinion these are the best medium sized ratsnake to have as pets. As you mentioned most of these guys have very curious and mellow personalities...showing very little fear of humans.

I love that yellow under the head!! For some reason black and yellow snakes always get me!

They get about 6ft or so and the yellow should start to go into the bands on their bodies as they get bigger. As said, these are great snakes with great personalities. I'd recommend them to anyone.
