wow... this sucks!!! I can't find any pure diamonds anywhere... Doesn't seem like there's many breeders out there and if there is, they only have crosses. It's come down to either a diamond or a redtail for my next snake, but my chances at getting a diamond don't look so good now:( Plus seeing that I can't seem to find very many, Im thinking the price is going to be very high if I do get lucky and find one that I like.

dvs, if you are willing to get them from canada, i know don patterson works with them, and i think he would be able to get the CITES work for them
The link to his site can be found on the home page here under site supporters

Anyone know of any other breeders??? Doesn't look like Don's going to be having any for a while. What's a good going rate for Diamond pythons??? Im having a hard time believing that more people don't work with them, what gives??

Diamonds are a tough one. Slow growing and hybernation requirements make it harder to come by and breed. That and being just plain rare in Canada. Import from US maybe your only choice?

I have yet to see one for sale below $1500 US...

They are much more difficult to keep and breed than most of the 'regular' pythons. They actually occur in places where there's sometimes snow on the ground...you're better off to try and keep them like a colubrid.

I know the East Bay Vivarium sometime has some...
