Hi Everyone!
Starting back in April I started a "Snake of the Month" section on the wall at my work. Each month I pick a snake and print 1 to 2 pictures of it and hang them on the wall with their name, and I want to try and add "Cool Facts" about them as well.
This month I am having trouble determining which snake to showcase for the month of August. So I have turned to all of you for advice! :D
What I have chosen so far:
April: Hognose Snake
May: Green Anaconda
June: Oenpelli Python
July: Dragon Snake
August: ????
I need one for August, I have been considering the Mexican Black Kingsnake, or Carpet Python (Morelia Spilota). But I wanted to hear suggestions from all of you!

Why not pick one of yours and keep him at your desk? Lol

Those are my desktop backgrounds. :P Its always fun when you share your screen with someone and it pops up with a close up of one of my snakes.

Go with something that could really "wow" a few people. I would do retics or burms, balls, corn snakes. I'd want to show off all the morphs if I can. That type of stuff really impresses people to look at the animals in a different light and maybe join the hobby.

A baby ETB or GTP, they are stunning. And next month, u can use the adult version and tell your collegues that the ones from august grow up to be like those ;)

I have never seen a Sunbeam snake before! That iridecense is amazing. Found several pictures where someone obvisouly played with saturation to make it more vibrant.

I like your idea, but I think I would just show them baby and adult, to show HOW MUCH they change as the grow.

So for now I've been shying away from morphs. I'm not sure why, but I have been showing just normal's of them. Maybe I should show morphs...
I think I may have made my decision harder now... =/

You could always show a normal, and then give a few of the morphs, to show all the variety. :)

Alright, I've decided to go with the Sunbeam snake for this month. Its something I hadn't heard of, and rest of the team probably hasn't either.
I will be returning to this thread for the coming months for more ideas, so add more if you find something interesting to showcase! :)
