If your average MBK hatchling is ~7 (to 12?) inches long, and a given snake of unknown gender is ~15 inches, is it possible to roughly guess their age?
I know that growth rates are pretty variable, but I don't have a birthday for my little MBK and I was wondering if anyone could make an educated guess.
I THINK he's roughly 15 inches along--I got just under 13 inches with an online measuring tool, but when I caught him stretched out along his enclosure, I measured roughly 15 inches. I'm going to assume that's the somewhat more accurate measurement.
If a weight would help, my scale should arrive today and...well, it's feeding day, so I don't want to mess with him, but I can get that info on Friday.
