Yeah this one is incredible. I just can't believe the striping on the first half of his body.

That is wicked. If they could breed it and could proved out the trait at would be amazing.

It really would, but I think this was found after the ban on exports/imports in Aus.

Even if we could never own it here it still be cool to see it prove out.
Yeah chuck- that would be fun for sure. Who knows- maybe one day we can get Aussie animals.

Yeah that's true. We do have striped jungles but nothing like that. It'd be cool to put those genes to work!

We can only hope. It would nice to add new blood into our captive populations. Not only with jungles but also with rarer subspecies like inlands and northern locality coastals.

Plenty of striped carpets in captivity here Chuck... jungles and coastals. I'm pretty sure there are MDs kicking about as well with stripes. I'm not too sure if they've cracked bredlis or darwins yet.

I've wanted that book for the longest time, I never see it for below $150 though.

No striping like that though. We have carpets with one stripe going down the whole back but 4 stripes next to eachother is crazy.

That is incredible! I would love to see that proved out. I would probably never get a chance to own one, but it is remarkable to look at. Good find!

There are carpets here with multiple stripes... tiger jungles and striped coastals. Particularly in coastals here in Oz. They have been around in coastals here for a while now... so much so it's a none event and people don't even bother trying to continue them on. Search on the APS forum for pics...
