Hey everyone, Just wanted to show off some of my favorite BHPs of this and last year. Should grow up to be some rippers.

Man they look good derek! Love the white on that last one. I was on your website the other day- you really put together a fantastic high end collection. I am a huge fan of what you are doing over there.

Eye candy, really love your collection and the crazy BHP's you produce, it's great to see some high end BHP's in the states. The western in the last pic is just simply incredible. Good luck with them!

Ah, thanks guys. I appreciate it....I love this dang species so much. They are just a "one of a kind" animal...for sure.

Can't wait to see what we're able to produce in 10 years! Fun fun! Haha. So many different flavors.

What do you like so much about them? Tell us a little about what it's like working with them and what their temperaments are like. There is so little information available on them. I would be very interested in hearing what someone with your experience with this species has to say about them.

Edit: feel free to replace the word "them" with a synonym when reading this.

Well,
They're extremely curious about things outside their environment.

Anytime, I come in the room, just the vibration of the door will cause all of them to raise their heads and check out the source of disturbance.
It's pretty nuts to walk in and see 40/45 BHPs all Looking out the cage.

They're a lot like a monitor in their personal behavior than a python.

They don't wrap you like boas or carpet pythons when handling....other than to go into a food response...they're more like a wet noodle.

They are very food responsive and can be bitey. That usually calms down with regular handling and some of mine are complete angels.

If fed right, they're pretty much indestructible. Tolerant of temp extremes. Can take dry/wet climate really well.

Are fun to watch dig, if you give them substrate to do it.

They sleep upside down (which can cause a heart attack if you're not used to seeing it.)

Come in a variety of flavors with new morphs being worked on all the time.

They hold their value really well because they're difficult to produce but, for the investment type...nothing better really.

Don't see too many of them around...so, it's nice to see something different other than a sea of ball pythons.

They're not ball pythons. haha.

They eat ball pythons. LOL

Man, just too cool for school. Haha

Do they really eat ball pythons? Man you sold me- I went online to scout prices and they are so expensive. I can't really justify buying one. Thanks for the rundown derek. You had me at "like a monitor."

+1 I can see one of these in my future, they look so awesome like they crawled through fire to get their pattern.

Haha, Well they don't eat ball pythons in the wild (as they live in Aussie) but, they are snake eaters and will prefer snakes/lizards over rodents any day of the week.

Any snake...doesn't matter, they'll eat it right down. Haha.
