Ok I have this cage now..model 622 and I'm a little bummed I can't use my heat panel because the inside top isn't level. I have heard maybe a smaller panel, UTH (I've never used) and heat tape..again I've never used. Suggestions would be appreciated

What kind of snake is the cage for?

You can still use a rhp, just use longer screws and bolts. If the screws are too long you can always cut it off with a screw cutter.

It's for a retic.

I use flexwatt on all 5 of my visions of varying sizes. That said you should be able to still use your RHP, like Mikoh said you'll just need longer bolts/screws/studs and to drill a hole for the cable.

Heat tape would work fine. That being said I use heat panels on all my Retics(except for quarantine). If I'm thinking of the right cage your obstacle is the florescent light vent on the left side of the cage, correct? The longer bolt idea sounds good, I'd use wing nuts on the top aswell.

I know this is a dumb question but who here drill extra holes in the back for your thermometer and thermostat probes? I'm thinking one hole on each side in the back will work just fine. One side for thermometer probe of cool side, the other hole for the thermometer and thermostat probes

I do, a soldering iron works great too.
