I haven't been around in a while just because life is busy ... But I need a bit of help- sorry the story is a bit depressing.

When I work alone I have my boyfriend brings trash out to the bins for me because they are on the other side of the plaza out back. Tonight he noticed a tank sitting behind the dumpsters. It was in good shape and larger than the one we have our corn snake in so he thought we could give her an upgrade. As he went to grab it he noticed a shell... I got outta work as fast as I could and we moved it home. Poor thing was dead though when I got the chance to take a good look in the light. When I pulled him out he was already rock solid. We are going to give him a proper burial like he deserved.
But curiosity has hold of me and I'm curious what this little guy would of turned Ito had he made it.

If any one recognizes what it is I would really appriciate it.

The blue/purple stuff is sand because we was half burried when we found him.

That looks a lot like a plastic turtle I've seen a lot of.

I really hope that's the case- we almost thought that at first because he was rock solid and I can't find a similar looking photo anywhere online. My boyfriend has just been saying it was a tank decoration to make himself feel less bummed about it. :/ I sent a photo to Brian barczyk and he didn't recognize it but sent it off to a few other people for me. Thanks for your response.

If it is fake I will feel a little silt but a lot better that someone didn't just toss their pet into the trash.
