They can eat it, but its not something you should give them very much of, or very often. Their diet should consist mainly of a mix of various greens like mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens, escarole, endive, and watercress. Other staple foods can include acorn squash, butternut squash, prickly pear, green beans, kabocha squash, mangoes, okra, papaya, parsnip, snap peas, and yucca root.
