i am going to pick up a new corn snake sunday and i dont know which one to get. i already have a 6wk old albino corn that is not motley but carries the gene. i would like to breed her in the future when she is ready so that is one of the things i am considering with this new purchase. my options are sunglow motley $30, sunglow pinstripe $15, and one that i am told is a normal amel but it has orange white and yellow rings all the way down its body $20.

It's just a paint job. Just go look and pick what you like! Have fun- nothing beats getting a new snake.

I agree, nothing beats getting a new snake. Best wishes with whatever you choose.

i like all 5 that i mentioned, i was asking from a breeding standpoint, which would be most desirable when trying to sell babies?

Pretty sure all of those morphs are desirable... It really depends on what you like and will like working with. So as the other's have said...just get what you like.

I wouldn't even make a decision. Let your heart tell you when you get down there.

When we went and got my pitbull from the shelter, my wife was dead set on a lab she found through the shelters website. We went down there, and the pit jumped up and gave her a hug (on a leash tied to the wall while her kennel was being cleaned). Needless to say, she fell in love and that's the best dog I've ever had.

Moral of the story, let your heart guide you, and you'll get the perfect Snake for you.

Wow, your prices in the US are so cheap it's crazy! My Okeetee was $65...and I got her for a good price! Even normal corns are almost never seen at prices as low as you mentioned.

My advice: they are just different colour morphs of the same snake, so pick whatever one you think is the prettiest! That's what matters, and don't take me wrong but who cares what other people think! It's an animal you're going to have for possibly a couple of decades, make sure it's what YOU want. :)

Great choice Mad, I love his color, head pattern, and the stripes. He's going to be even more gorgeous as he grows. Congrats on the new addition!

thanks :) i am super excited. he actually struck at my finger the first time i picked him up, so now i know how funny it is to be bit by a baby corn snake lol. just that one bite tho, he is already becomming a puppy dog. i can even touch his head no problem.
