Greetings, I have a pair of Wild Type Texas Rat Snakes het for Leucistic.

4 years ago the female laid 18 eggs, they all hatched with the following results: 7 x Leucistic, 10 x Wild Type, 1 x Dwarf Wild Type.

I called him a dwarf jokingly, because he was half the size of his siblings at hatching. Everyone told me he would not survive to the six month old age.

Well, 4 years later, the chappie is fit as a fiddle, but truly a dwarf. He is about 30cm in length, where he should be about 1m to 1.2m in length.

He eats, poops, sheds, does everything a Normal sized Texas Rat does, including having the Take No Prisoners attitude.

Here are some pics of the parents and him.

Wow, he is tiny! Gotta love Texas Rats. I have one in my collection, and he's got the same "Don't mess with me!" attitude.
