That's an incredible enclosure. Can't wait to make something crazy for my Retics. Not sure how I feel about having atleast 5 togather.

I count 6. Nice set up but you would have to remove them to feed them. I prefer to feed in the cage.

That is beautiful! Would be a pain to clean and feed the animal though haha.

Yep, didn't see the one in the lower right corner.
I'm actually making something like this now. I'm planning on keeping 2 together but to be honest I'm not sure about moving 2 hungry carpets to feed. I am sorta getting second thoughts about what that would be like. I want to know how this guy does it.t

Yeah, keeping multiple carpets would not be fun come feeding day. Nice enclosure though. Wish I had that creative ability in me.

My girl is the calmest most docile snake I have. She will just perch on me all day while I watch TV. She is the snake that I let kids handle. I have to cover her cage with a blanket the day before feeding day because she will hit the glass when I walk by lol. I am building a little feeding trap door in my new enclosure because it is so difficult getting a rat in there without a carpet python flying out like a jack in the box.

That is good looking cage, someone put some time into designing that one

Alright so I got a reply from the owner of that enclosure and he says he takes the bigger carpets out to feed separately in the bathtub...and I'm assuming he will feed 1 or two of them inside the enclosure.
That's crazy. You feed in the enclosure right?

Personally I do. I just can't imagine taking out my 9 carpets out of their enclosures while they are wrapped around a branch in the ambush position. Besides they feed in the "air" most of the time so i don't have to worry about ingestion of bedding.
This is my male IJ and female jungle being fed inside their enclosures. If I tried to take them out with the scent of rats in the air.... lol

Oh man! I love the under the branch attack by the jungle! Lol That's what I'm saying I couldn't ever take my girl out with the scent of rat in the air. About an hr ago she whacked the glass while I was defrosting rats. Can you link me to a thread with pics of your IJ? You said 9: what's the breakdown? What are you currently keeping? Last I talked to you, you were trying to sell your jungle I believe.

Yeah, not a good idea to mess with hungry semi-arboreal snakes.

We feed all of ours in their enclosures, but over here in Australia, not too many people keep their pythons together. Some feed as we do, some feed in tubs.

One of the reasons I love carpets. Great feeding response, almost like a retic.
