No I'm not saying snakes and frogs form bonds, I just thought this story was pretty cool.

I'd be willing to bet the snake knows that the frog will eat insects and parasites off of it. Seen lots of videos where Grouper allow these small fish to pick their gills clean of everything to keep them clean. Same with buffalo and birds. Nature is very adapted.

I don't think they eat cold-blooded prey, so the frog should be safe.
