Hey guys so my new Habistat Thermostat has just come through the post and I thought I'd double check on the temperature it should be set on. On a video I watched they said it should be set 25-26c (77F-79F) by day and 22-25c (72F-77F) by night but I have seen people on here talking about their heating preferences and most say they have their Thermostat set all the way in the 80-90F. I will attach a picture of my thermostat if it helps and again if it helps my snake will be a Corn Snake roughly a month old.

I keep my corn's and colubrid's hot side in the 85-90 deg F range 24/7. But if you have the option to drop the temps at night to mid 70's that would work fine. Either way should be fine.

Don;t forget that your thermostat may seem to be set higher to what your thermometer is showing. My temps are at 30-32 C but my thermostat is on 34 C. It's perfectly normal.

Yeah a lot of people have said that. Like you said I'll let the thermometer tell me what the Temp is. Thank you

another thing you might find, Which i had a problem with last winter. was that i found it hard to maintain temps. Even though we had a pretty mild winter. I switched to a pulse thermostat instead of an on/off one. And my temps now are really stable

I'll see how well I can keep the temp during winter, if it's abit of a struggle I'll defo look into a pulse thermostat. Thanks for the advice

Also switching to a radiant heat panel takes care of the winter colder ambient Temps. I switched from heat tape to RHP's and never looked back. They heat the air and provide a basking area.

RHP's are on my to do list too Steve. Gonna get the new addition set up and then work on some upgrades.
