Just thought I'd share a couple pictures of my brother's Red-Eared Slider, Iggy. It was nice and sunny, but she insisted on trying to crawl under my car every time I'd set her down lol. She's about 4" :) I honestly know 0 things about turtles, like, her claws, not to sound stupid but are they supposed to be that long, or....

I know males can generally have longer claws

Lol I have no idea the sex of her, my brother says it's a girl but I have no idea how to tell, I just think she's cute and a spaz :D

Generally speaking, you can sex turtles very easily by looking at the bottom shell. If it is flat, it's a female and if it is concave, it's a male. The concave shape makes it easier to accommodate the shape of the female's shell when mating.
