The prices of feeder mice are ridiculous in pet stores around here.
What are some breeders in Ontario, Canada that have good prices on feeder mice and rats? Many of the places online have crazy shipping prices that make it almost as expensive as the pet store... :hmm:

I agree with the online shipping prices, they way I compensate is to buy is larger quantities. I have a large chest freezer to store my snake food, so I buy about a years worth of rats/mice/bunnies and scale it to what I would imagine they will eat in a year. If I have extra, it just gives me another reason to buy a snake of that size so I don't waste food! but looking at the price of online vs my local pet stores (in the US). for a large rat here it's about $5, online that same rat is $.50. So while I have to spend more money at once, I'm saving in the long run, even with the $50 shipping.

I'm not sure if they ship to Canada but I've used Layne Labs and RodentPro for my frozen feeders. Both have great quality feeders but RP is a little less expensive. Even with the shipping fees it's much cheaper than buying from a pet store. I usually buy 6 months worth of feeders at a time for my three snakes.

Try near north rodents. They are between Barrie and Orrilia.
