melenine cage help!!!

I want my first boa and i want to make a melanine cage with sliding doors but i want to just make one big one so it fits him his whole life is that recommended?

That's fine. Depending on what species either a 4x2 or 6x2 should be fine for its entirety. Just make sure when it's small you overload the enclosure with cover so the small snake doesn't get stressed.
