Incubation

My female finally shed yesterday (in one piece might I add! And isn't she pretty now! :P) so I was thinking of setting my incubator soon.
Does anyone have experience incubation eggs? I've heard of three mediums : vermiculite, perlite and no substrate. Any tips / ideas / experience info to share?

Also, is 90F a good temp? And what humidity should I keep them at?
Should I place the eggs in a tupperware with holes for ventilation and add water periodically, or in a totally closed tupperware so no humidity escapes?

Yes, I agree with Jimi, reading up on techniques are important. There are a few good sites you can find info on the breeding of Carpets, and "The Reproductive husbandry of Pythons and Boas" is an excellent reference book.
What I have done with a fair amount of success is the following-
Equipment needed:
1. Styrofoam container
2. Plastic container that can fit in the primary container.
3. Plastic stand to place plastic container on, within the styrofoam container
3. Vermiculite
4. Heater
5. Thermostat

Connect the heater to the thermostat.
Place probe of thermostat within secondary container.
Place heater under the plastic stand within the styrofoam container.
Fill bottom of plastic container with damp vermiculite (if you can squeeze it in your hands and a lot of water comes out, it's too wet).
Place plastic container with lid (with 4 small holes in) on the stand, within the styrofoam container.
Set the thermostat on 88.5 to 89 degrees Fahrenheit (31.4 to 31.7 degrees Celcius).

Please don't just take this, this is only a suggestion, read up and hopefully some other people here can also give you some ideas.

I've read lots of things, and do have some pythons books. They don't all say the same. If they did, I wouldn't be asking here. What I was asking was, does anyone have personal experience incubating carpet python eggs, and what has given them best result.

Also I have an incuator, I would just like to know the best medium to use to incubate the eggs. I had great results using perlite for fat-tail eggs but then, pythons aren't geckos.

A good medium for incubation is damp vermiculite. And should also be 90 degrees fareinheit in the incubation enclosure :)
