I apologize in advance if this question has been answered in this forum already, but I have a 1yr bci and a 3yr old jungle carpet. I have been feeding them both 1 medium (150-170g) rat weekly. My question is am I overfeeding them? They have never turned down a meal and always aggressively take the rats offered, but I am wondering if it would be best to go to a bi-weekly feeding schedule. Thanks for any and all advice.

I would move them to 10-14 day schedules that's what I have my BCIs on

How big is the medium compared to the girth of the carpet?

I mean it leaves a bulge but it is not overly large and I know that carpets can eat quite a bit bigger then their girth.

Rule of thumb, 1.5x there girth. Snakes will eat food that is too large for them, so make sure you monitor how much of a bulge it provides and that it last for a few days, I usually look for 3 days to still see a nice bulge.
