Nice burmese, loving the cage. I see bamboo palms in the back and what looks like a sago palm in front, what other plants are in there?

Thanx man ;) I always try to make it as natural as possible with the environment they come from in mind. Pity i don't have more room to give them even more and nicer enclosures. Although, i will make a larger one for this hypo in a month or so.
Greetz.

Beautiful! How do you set up the substrate? Is that planted grass? Or do you just throw grass in there that is plucked from outside?
David VB
06-13-14, 08:11 AM
Well, it was a test to see if it would work tbh. I just went to a field and dug up some soil, full of grass and put it in there. But it didn't survive. Both heat and the heavy body of the snake caused it to die. I'm still looking for better suited grass but it's hard to find it seems...

The only grass that's common that comes to mind is crabgrass.... a weed in my parts. But to be honest, it looks like that might be what you had.

Gorgeous Burm! I love hypos, it's too bad about the Lacey Act here, but maybe someday I'll move somewhere where these guys are bred and get one of my own.

Thanx folks, i really love him :) And he was so calm at the shop, although i was a bit worried because they also sell rabbits and rats, mice, hamsters. I thought he would have been nervous from smelling al those prey items :p

Had a photo shoot with Tijgertje a couple of days ago, but it was actually a shoot with a plus size nude model. The photographer took some pictures from him alone too and i got one already, so i thought i would share.

hehe boobies, but in all seriousness lovely picture. Nice to see some "nontraditional" beauty. People worry about weight and appearances too much these days.

That is so beautiful! The snake, and the model, and the photograph as a whole :)
Both pictures are great. I really like when reptiles are put into photography where the colors contrast. I'm not a photographer so I'm not hip to the lingo, but hopefully you get it! As for whether it's allowed, probably not. Us Americans for whatever reason, cannot handle the sight of the human body lol. Never will understand.

Pretty much this.
Nice photo of the Burm, though! (Looks like the model's photo was removed - I can't see it.)
