Found this little guy in my room today, first pic shows just how small he is. Finding these guys makes me wish I had a DSLR so I could get a macro lens, makes me wonder what I could do with one since what I have now is a point-and-shoot.:p Hope you guys enjoy :)

Thanks guys :) I also wanted to share that I just found what I believe to be an asian beetle in my iguanas mustard greens, never seen one of these before so I thought it was cool. :p

That last one looks like a standard ladybug?

That last one looks like a standard ladybug?

That's what I thought at first too and I got excited because I've only ever seen a real ladybug once, but when I looked it up I found that real ladybugs actually have a distinct head thats separated from the body and they're less dome-like..Not sure though so if anyone knows that'd be great:)

Certainly looks just like the ones we get in our house/garden every day. Will try to get a pic next time daughter finds one!

All asian beetles are ladybugs, not all ladybugs are asian beetles though. Asian beetle is a specific species where ladybug is a generic term. Think boa vs red tail boa. That appears to be a regular ladybug.

I just got to play the "is it lint or is it a spider?" game, and it turned to LOOK at me so...definitely not lint.

It was a Bold Jumping Spider, as far as I can tell. I didn't really, you know, get any closer to look. I'm never sure if I find them cute or just as squicky as every other spider...
