Hello! I'm Taylor... I've been keeping snakes for a little under 7 years (since late 2007), and lizards and tortoises for around 5 years. Though I didn't actually jump into my latest level of addiction (skinks) until June 2012.
Currently, my personal menagerie consists of 12 snakes (representing 11 different species, mostly colubrids!), 9 skinks (Fires, Schneiders, Goldens, and an Olive Tree skink), and 2 tortoises (a Leopard and a Russian). Plus the furries--2 dogs and a cat.
I also dabble in rescue where I'm needed--currently, that means 3 ball pythons, 3 alligator lizards, 3 arboreal geckos, and 2 stunted Sulcata tortoises. I mostly take in tortoises when it comes to rescue, and lately it's pretty much entirely the sick little babies/stunted juvies that I wind up with. :( Both of my personal torts were such cases.
I do get somewhat passionate about tortoise husbandry! So many are improperly kept... Especially hatchlings, and especially, especially Sulcata and Leopard hatchlings. So... Fair warning... Though I will do my best to behave. ;)
Finally decided I'd heard about this forum enough--time to check it out! Nice to meet you all.
