I recently bought 2 geckos from a gentlemen who didn't have the space anymore. He had a Leopard Gecko with a African Fat-tailed Gecko in the same enclosure. I've heard both ends now that they shouldn't be in the same enclosure and that they can. He said they get along just fine and for the few days I've had them they do. Is it safe to say that this shouldn't be an issue?

Them getting along is not the issue here, it's the fact that they are two different species with different requirements, especially where humidity is concerned.

Exactly. Different species from different areas should not be housed together.

Different species definitely should not be together and what are the sexes? It is even worse if 2 males are housed together.
