So the parents of my carpet are:
Mother is a Morelia spilota mcdowelli. 2007 Striped Coastal from AC Reptiles, believe she came from the Liger male.
Father is a Morelia spilota ssp. 2007 25% Diamond, 75% Coastal Jaguar. Produced by Marc and Erin Bruhaly, this boy comes from Will Leary's Tiger-Jaguar lines.

This was the description the breeder gave me. So this makes her an intergrade. The mother is over 8' from the last time I asked about a year ago. So I'm wondering if any of you would suspect she will obtain that size also? I know they all vary, but given the size of the mother and what the father is, I'm just curious to know.

Thanks!

Try to find out what kind of coastal the parents are. Northern type coastals don't get much bigger than jungle carpet pythons. Southern coastals can grow huge. Also, see if you can find out how much food he was feeding to the parents. Size depends on food intake, just as much as genetics. So if the parents were fed a lot, in theory your snake doesn't need to get as big if you feed it conservatively. Vice versa.
