How much do Baby jungle carpets usually run
thanks
Depends where you live, sex of the baby, colour of the baby, parents, etc etc... could be 200$ or could be 400$.

I pet store price might run you about 250$-350$ + but if your lucky you could pick one up at a show for about 125$-175$, like zoe said depending on things like colour, parents, pattern and age.
At the last show there wasn't any under $225 (that I saw anyway)But who knows what you could do if you haggled!?
I got a deal on mine cause I bought 2 at the same time.
Ditto .........for the location, sex, color and pattern.
Ask Zoe how much she is going to sell here hatchlings for ..lol

I couldn't answer him Dino, I don't do jungles :D
Zoe
naw you wont find any jungles that cheap unless someone's really desperate... because jungles easily go for $250-$300 a piece. even at these herp shows and online. a store could run you up around $400.

What about a normal at an expo price? Or what morph is cheaper? The Arizona Pangea Exotics Expo is the 22nd-23rd so I need to get as many opinions that I can! Thanks!

Sorry my bad! :)
There must be a big difference in price on these were you guys are than where I am. I got mine for $80 a piece, pure blood JCPs with feeding logs, and pics of both parents. I got to hand pick them out as well.
Here is a link to a pic of one of them. He is only about 6 months so his color is still developing.

With the amount of crosses starting to float around(more in the US), I would worry more about pure bloodlines over price.

The prices that I've seen are generally $250-300... at an expo you might find them for $25-50 cheaper, if you're lucky. Just keep in mind to be wary of anything that's TOO much cheaper... there's often something wrong with the snake, or it's not pure JCP, etc...
Also, keep in mind that we're quoting you Canadian prices :D

Are you guys in Canada?
I'm in the US and I see them for $80 to $125 all the time. You can pick up some killer bloodlines for $150 to $200.
This is a Canadian forum.. so you should expect the prices people quote are in Canadian dollars, and from breeders/distributers in Canada. the US market is cheaper. $125 US isnt rare at all. but under $200 CDN is very hard to find unless A. they are desperate, or B. they are neonates or very very young. you wouldnt get a yearling that cheap.

I got my little JCP for 125$ at one of the expos but she wasn't eating well so I exchanged her shortly after but did have to pay an extra 50$ for a nicer one with lots of stripes...yet it is still an awsome price, 175$ instead of 250$-275$ and she is beautiful and doing awsome!
Jimi, why would a breeder have to be desperate to sell a JCP cheaper than the average? Perhaps, s/he wants to move them quicker, or perhaps want to make them more accessible and break this "elitist" type groups we seem to have in Canada.
I was just reading about breeders in Corallus.com that have GIVEN away babies, and these are GOOD breeders.
A breeder just may want to make it easier for younger or less financially able folk to enjoy and keep the species. It may not be about the money and a breeder can certainly screen their buyers.
Certainly that's why I breed, I want more folkz to keep snakes and enjoy the joys that I have. Why not spread the fun?
