I figured I better start a picture thread for my Irian Jaya Jaguar carpet python because everyone loves pictures!:D

She is a cb12 but I took her home in January 2014.

Some photos are repeats from other threads.

Thank you! She is beautiful and as usual cell phone pictures and my lack of photography skills don't do her justice.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! She really is a beautiful and great handling snake! She does show a bit of neurological issues by corkscrewing and going upside down occasionally but it doesn't matter to me.

Here are a few pics from today. None are very good because she is always moving but oh well. Handling was before she was fed obviously...

That seems to be a nice enclosure, could you post some pics of the entire enclosure?

Thank you. It has worked perfect however she has grown a fair bit since I got her and is now, in my opinion, too big for it. I have a 36x18x18 melamine enclosure sitting around but I will likely just upgrade to a 4x2x2 here soon.

Here are some pics of the setup.

It is a 64qt sterilite bin with 2 horizontal dowels for perches. 1 perch is a "y" shape and non removable and the back perch is removable. There is 2 fake plants and a raised magnetic "rock" on the right side she lays on or under. Of course a hide and water dish. Heated by 4" heat tape off of a Herpstat 2. Substrate used to be aspen only but recently changes to a thin layer of aspen with reptibark or similar on top for appearance and reduced odor from the substrate.

Nice looking enclosures Brett. Are those T-10's?

Thank you! They are made locally by Cornel's World Terrariums...the same place Stewjoe gets his from if I'm not mistaken. They are made with 10mm thick pvc and mine measure 4'x2'x1'. The enclosure on top has a temporary divider in it and will be removed when the boas get bigger. At that time I will buy a 4x2x2 for my carpet but she has plenty of room right now as she is only 4' long and still quite slim.

Thanks Steve! PVC is the only way to go for display enclosures...they are so light compared to the melamine one I made and look way better!

I use a very similar tub setup for my Albino Jag. Yours is a bit more colorful haha. Looks great! :)

Haven't posted pics in a while and she just shed so figured this would be the perfect time. I love the last pic of her perching and looking at me under the branch upside down.

She's looking awesome Brett. I love her color, her head pattern and that broken stripe down the middle. She's gorgeous! That settles it... if/when I get another snake it's definitely going to be a carpet.

Thanks EL-Ziggy, Sweatshirt and Jim for the comments! She really is pretty and my cell phone pics are always lower quality than I'd like but oh well. I think Carpets are absolutely great! She can be seen perching many times throughout the day and definitely moves around her enclosure more than the boas. I do love my boas especially when I take them out but my carpet definitely is more visible in her enclosure.
