Hello,

I was just wondering if it matters when breeding a new pair of snakes, if the female is put in the males enclosure? The two snakes have never bred before with each other or with any other snakes.

I have head that the male is meant to be put in the females enclosure so am a bit unsure.

Cheers :)

Honestly I have seen it done both ways, I really don't think it matters, just comes down to personal preference

I've heard both suggested to people. I'd personally put my males into females cages.

Most people put the male into the females cage because typically she is bigger and has a bigger cage. Also a female can stress over being moved but the male just wants to get to business and seldom cares.
