Haven't posted on here in a while, so thought I would put up some pics of Toothless and Astrix:bouncy:.
Toothless turned 2 this year, and Astrix is 1 (just got her, so don't mind the horrid body condition, she's slowly improving).
Enjoy!

Astrix- 7 inches SV

Really hope so Wayne :). I can see it taking a good while though as he/ she has almost no muscle mass or fat. She's eating fine now, but between digestion and a bit of diarrhea it's a struggle to keep her hydrated. The vet did say that her bowels will take a while to start working properly- guess that's what happens when you go many months without food . Also hoping to see some growth once she gains some weight. She's got a lot of catching up to do.

Lots of night crawlers. ;)

easy on the digestive tract and full of moisture

I was finally able to find some trout worms this weekend, and she absolutely loves them :). Should I maybe keep her on just the worms for a bit until her tummy settles down? She loves the crickets and hoppers, but maybe they are not the best for her at the moment...

crickets are not too hard to digest, hoppers a bit more difficult, Worms also have a decent calcium content.

I guess I'll hold off on the hoppers for a bit then until her tummy settles. Nice to know about the calcium content of the worms- I did not know this. They'll be good for her MBD :).

Toothless looks great, and Astrix seems very happy! I'm sure he'll look better in no time.

I certainly hope so :). She's got a long way to go, but is a fighter.
A few more pics tonight after her feeding. She was still looking dehydrated this evening, so I decided to start back up the feedings until she's pooing normally.
Also rubbed some olive oil on her tonight as her belly is starting to peel and there's a few layers of shed that need to come off.

Just wanted to update and let everyone that doesn't already know that this will probably be Astrix's last night. She's going downhill fast and I don't think she'll make it until tomorrow. She fought so hard, but I think her health problems and starvation are just too much for her little body to fight :(. Hoping she'll bounce back, but knowing I'll be wishing her a safe trip over the rainbow bridge in the next few hours:no:.

I'm sorry for your loss. :( it's horrible losing an animal, especially if you tried so hard to save her. :(

Thank you.

I brought her in today and hopefully I'll be able to get an autopsy done to determine what went wrong.

I'm going to disinfect her enclosure and seal it instead of throwing it out though. It's a pretty decent enclosure and could look pretty good with a bit more work. That way if another bosc comes around that needs a good home I'll have space and resources available to offer it a good home.

How would be best to disinfect the wood? I plan to paint it afterwards, just to make sure it's good.
