Mmm seems my previous post disappeared, but here's my new girl.

She's 2 years old, but only 3.5 feet:( Hopefully with some food and stuff she'll grow! She's tame tame tame.

Nice snake, yellows are great snakes, and stay alot smaller than their cousins.

Snakemann87,

You will find that your burm will grow a lot faster than that anaconda. For some reason anacondas take many more years to reach their huge size compared to retics and burms. I have burms here that are only about 8 months old that are now almost the same size as my anaconda that is 4 years old!

Dom,

I have no pics, but you can stop by any time you like. She is still quite small though- very small in comparison to that big girl at the zoo!

I really want her to grow up and be large and beautiful. Her temperament is awesome! Superbly tame. :)

When I first got her she was urinating all over me and musking, but no bites, no hisses. I'm hoping with more handling, she'll lose that nasty habit. She wasn't handled very much.

Anyways Casacrow how slow would you say an anacondas growth rate is. I really think this gal is small, but perhaps she's not. Could you enlighten me?

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. I'm thinking I want another one of these guys. A male perhaps, just saw the ad on the classifieds, but !Yipe! a *bit* steep for me. I think I'd rather buy a pair of white lips. Oh well, anyone know of any other 'condas for sale let me know.

I really want a green. Went to the Vancouver Aquarium today and saw some greens. OOOOOH SO CUTE!! A male, they stay smaller. Anacondas have such cute faces.

Beautiful! I am not an expert on snakes, and I am quite an idiot about them actually, so, WHAT do you feed them when they get HUUUGGEEE? Nice snake though!

Rabbits, goats, lambs... depending on the size of the snake.
