Sorry that some of the pics are out of focus and or blurry. I forgot to put my lens on VR and the habitat glass had finger and palm prints all over it. The Mata Mata"s were my fav along with the vipers.

Unbelievable photos! I haven't been there in about 4 years so I guess it's time for me to make another visit. While you were there, you didn't happen to see a blond phase Eastern Box turtle did you? If so, that was one I found on my driveway about 8 years ago and brought it to the zoo. The manager at the reptile house said that they couldn't accept a wild-caught native species, but one of the workers accepted her for his own collection and later added her to the exhibit.
Thanks for sharing the fantastic photos.

Thanks guys! I am still in the early learning stages of photography.
Jim,
The only box turtles I remember seeing were Gulf Coast box turtles. Zoo Atlanta has an impressive collection of reptiles and amphibians. The exhibits are top notch too! You should get back up there and check it out. Oh and I highly recommend Fox Brothers BBQ afterward(about 5 min away from the zoo)..Their smoked wings, brisket , and bloody marys are some of the best!

Awesome! The green tree viper looks to be a Trimeresurus trigonocephalus, and the neotropical rattlesnake is probably a Crotalus simus with all the red on it.

Great pictures. I've got to get down there one of these years. I've heard so many good things about it. They have an Aruban Rattlesnake there too. I lucked out on a vacation to Aruba a few years back and saw one there, almost stepped on it.

Awesome pictures. Were there any other boas and pythons there?

I'm glad y'all like... The only other python I remember was a monster Reticulated python. She was easily over 200lbs and very close to 20ft. I think they had a large jungle waterfall exhibit with a Central American Boa and a Green Anaconda in it. They had a nice Emerald Tree Boa display too. The snake was kinda tucked away behind some foliage which made it impossible to get a decent shot. I really wanted to get some pics of the Eyelash Viper but same deal as the ETB...maybe I will have better luck next time.

We went last weekend. They have a nice exhibit. We got to watch them feed some of the venomous. Of course, I just drooled over the Boelens python half the time, LOL.
Nice pics.
