I am thinking of adopting this corn snake does anyone know the morph? I don't know how many people have corn snakes on here but figured some of you have a decent amount of snakes and knowledge of them. Any ideas are appreciated :)

do you think 50$ is a fair price for him? that is what they are asking for an adoption fee

Depends on what you think he is worth, i can't help you out.. We don't have anything like snake adoptions here.

Personally I don't think it's worth it but that decision is only for you to make, also I'm not really into small snakes so my decision is partially biased
Like its been said, only you can decide if the price is worth it to you. Might be a little on the high side but $50 is not unreasonable for an adult normal.

okay, thanks guys! the owner was asking what a fair price is, thats why I was asking. :) I know many people don't have small snakes on here but Id like to get a little snake for my 2 year old. my bci scares her so I thought I'd start with smaller :)

My brother bought his corn as a baby for 30$ if that helps at all
I bought my first snake, a normal corn baby from a chain pet store because I didn't know of any shows or breeders near by and I paid $50 for her as a hatchling. But at shows around here, hatchling normals go for $15.
The gray background makes me lean towards a Miami phase but I'm not expert in corns. $50 is bad for an adult either way. It's not a steal, but it's not high. Prices vary so much depending on where your located. If you like it and it's affordable to you, then go for it.

Looks like a normal to me. 50 dollars is a little too pricey but hey, if the adult is well started and has a good temperament...why not get it?

some new photos before I took him out to feed, he is a little sketched out. he is in a 20 gal tank :/ with just a water dish so I am going to move him into a different cage after tonight. Thinking of names :)

He does look kind of like an Alabama corn to be too.

hm, is that different from a normal or classic or are you guys saying Alabama normal?
I can take specific photos if you need
Alabama is still a normal but more like a locality. There are several, like Miami corns, Alabama and Okeetees, although Okeetee is complicated. What are usually called Classics are Carolina corns. They are all normals but have a different look to them based on where they or their ancestors were collected from. Alabama corns are definitely one of the rarer localities though.

I see, morphs make my head spin and although I have spend thousands of hours on forums reading about them, there are far too many.. but thanks everyone I appreciate the inputs.

Yeah, Okeetees can either be a wild caught locality stock, or a snake that had been selectively bred to look like the locality.
This definitely has the look of an Alabama to me. The ground color has that metallic or bronze color to it, and there is that brownish wash that covers the snakes whole body.
