Tax return purchases?

Whatsup guys,

haven't been posting much lately but I still browse around. I haven't seen anyone posting anything they picked up with their tax returns, I thought thats what everyone did with them haha.

I unexpectedly will be receiving money, tuition and a baby wiped out my self employment tax. I also sold alot of animals this month since everyone seems to have spending cash, so I may pick up something interesting.

Anyone here grab anything cool?

I got a saltwater reef set-up and new rims and tires for my car!

I think I went a little into my own pocket though with the reef tank :hmm:

Needed to do it though because my school loan repayment started this month, and I knew I wouldn't spend the money later on with those around !

I owe the IRS money, so I won't be getting any return this year. I also found out my job neglected to take out my local taxes, so whooppee I owe them too.... Fun. >:(

I picked up 2 Indonesian Tree Boas, 2 Grey Rat Snakes, Blk & Wht Malaysian Mangrove Snake, Blk & Yellow Malaysian Mangrove Snake, Grey Red Tailed Rat Snake, Calabar Burrowing Python and a Blk & Wht Banded King Snake.

so sorry to hear, Willow :( We didn't go into deficit, but we got hit hard this year...we escaped the upper tax bracket slap for a while..but now all my kids are graduated, we have all established well paying jobs, etc...we got slapped with that higher tax bracket...we got jack back...(got lucky not paying IN)..but we all claim zero dependents to help w that...what little we DID get went to pay for our rainbows' enclosures, heat panels, etc...and I will be working overtime to get the other ones theirs, too...we live somewhat comfortably...but I work hard to get the "fun" stuff...but it sucks that I don't AS much time with them like I did having more days off (continuous shift as opposed to 3rd)...but still making MAJOR headway with my newbies and my little rescue boy...Iris is still quite withdrawn after her orals...once she sheds (should be real soon) I will try the Tylan...she refused food again last night (but could be because of shedding..she is clear, but she is still finicky at that stage...)

I'm on the Rare Earth waiting list for some Red Ackies, but that isn't tax return money. I'm getting my taxes done on April 7th and if I get anything back it'l go towards some more little monitors.

Ssssnakesss takes the cake haha. I'm thinking about getting something in the dwarf monitor group again....wish I didn't tell anyone I got a return so I don't have to hear it when I blow it all again.

MDT, you have a male now, or you have a female and bought a male for her? Either way, nice pickup! I'm on here, but sitting in front of the computer 40 hours a week now, I try my best not to do that when I get home.

There has to be more people who spent tons of money! I made this thread to justify wasting mine, we need more replies.

No new snakes or anything with our tax refund. Need to save it for nov. my daughter goes to Air Force basic training in sept and graduates in November sometime. So we are using that money for plane tickets to texas

Thanks, I grabbed 3 juvies. I didn't pick them up yet technically..Have to pick them up next week at the expo.
