Hallo,

I have my ball since december it eats pretty well, sheds excellent, but after his last shed his white spots grew enormously, he had like one on his neck, and maybe a little gray at the side of his head, but now.. the pictures don't even show the true depth of the white, but its realy white. Like white white. (wich is not normal for a clown i think)

But I cant find any morph with this weird kinda thing.

I hope some of you may know what it is.

(he is now aprox 4-5month old) a little skinny maybe but I didn't had the right size food at the beginning.

kind regards,

It looks like a clown morph to me. He's a very nice-looking ball python!

White edging on a clown is nice looking, however not uncommon for clowns to get more white as they age.
This one has it to:

and this one:
Fotogalerie hadù (http://www.serpentes.eu/fotogalerie/fotka.php?foto_id=1230)

And there are more but i wont hijack the topic.:D

Oke, I knew within the drips it got white, but also on his head, and on his neck back and tiny spots on the tail.. didn't see that comming :P but im still as happy with him :)

Thx, I ran in a little problem yesterday wich scared the living **** out of me.. he suddenly had red edges at his belly scales, came across some horrific scale rot photos. A buddy of me said it probably isn't scale rot because its a little cage racer, and decided right after his shed that he could climb around the terrarium instead of waiting for the scales to harden :P.

The red edges shrunk this night alot, thats was a relief but ill keep an eye out for it.

(cage racer is not even a good description, normaly about 6-8hours a day he crawls around, when he was done shedding he probably had a burst of enegry i guess after laying for 5days in his hide.)
