So today wasn't really a good day, first of all my dog has horrible diarrhea but it was manageable. (sort of) And the lambda sensor in my car broke.. Bad enough already.
However later that day, my pythons heat-mat broke..My spare brand new still in the box one? Broken!... Her small night heat-mat wasn't enough to heat her entire tub, and stores closed until Tuesday. After a lot of thinking gave my boa her night heat-mat, and put his (15f) cable under her tub, so they both had proper heating. Sadly the the attic gets too cold at night without her mat, so i had to drag her tub down the stairs.. Ugh yes finally. Both heated adequately. This is how it is set up now, going for new mats Tuesday.

After messing with that for 3 hours? Renji slams into the plastic of his transport tub trying to get me, when i wanted to put him back.. He breaks one tooth and the other one pierces his lip. Tried to get it off gently but i couldn't get it off, worried I'll damage his mouth. Contacted the vet already but no reply yet. What a day.. :( Picture isn't really clear, because he was also hissing it looks worse then it is.

Got a reply from my vet, no time until Tuesday night. That's the only time she could squeeze me in. A friend of mine informed me there is a (new) reptile vet close-by here that is pretty good, would be awesome for things like this that can't really wait that long.. It's only a 10 minute drive oppose to a 90 minute drive to my regular vet (reptile vets very thin-spread here) I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow morning.
I always loved snakes with attitude, but this is the first snake for which i wish he would tone down.. even if it's just a bit. He is a danger to himself, striking almost non-stop whenever he sees me. Takes a few minutes until he stops.

Update, since my regular vet is such a long drive. I went looking for an alternative, and i found a fairly new reptile-vet Really close by! Only a 10 minute drive, he seems experienced and the reviews are very good. Much better for emergency's than such a long drive (And usually a long wait, busy vet).
This morning when i checked on Renji, his lip looked 90% better, and he went into shed. I contacted that new vet, and we agreed it would be wise to see how he comes out of the shed while keeping an eye on him. If his situation changes I'll take him to the vet, and if his lip still looks off after he has shed, i'm taking him for a check-up as well. And off-course i let my regular vet know the change of plans, wouldn't want to step on any toes. I'm sure she understands.
He looks so dull in shed, but this was him this morning. Looking better.

I now have one vet telling me one thing, and another telling me otherwise. One saying, i can't see any part of the tooth stuck in his mouth. Best to wait it off, and give him some peace and quiet. The other telling me the tooth needs to be taken out. I'm lost here. What do you guys think? Is there a tooth stuck in there? (the little lump on the bottom was skin) This picture is the best i could get of it on my own, sadly snakes don't respond to 'say aaa' :p

That does look very irritating to say the least! Were is a snake Dentist when you need one! Sounds like one vet wants to help and the other doesn't.

the red is bruised/punctured gums because his lip was stuck on his teeth there, doesn't really look irritated irl.

After showing this pic, both vets agree the tooth is most likely out and he needs rest. He is exhausted from fighting me, and he hasn't eaten in 3 months. I should give him a week to heal up, and then hope he will eat :)
