I know I haven't been on here for a while but I'm getting back to it .
But anyway, is it just me or are there becoming less and less animal shows on animal planet ? They have all these mining shows and logging shows, and a lot of shows that just seem like copies of others. they are still very interesting and entertaining, but I want to see more wild animals. Just my thoughts lol

IMO, Animal Planet is a complete waste of time now.

I love the "North America" "Life" "Planet Earth" type mini series. I really wish there was a channel dedicated to HD filmography of wildlife.
You could put a guy in the Amazon for a year and I will watch every minute of it that I can spare in my free time (I watch about 5 hours of tv a week maybe... MAYBE)
That number is going to go down even more since I started a saltwater reef tank, right now I have one rock with about 3 TINY creatures and that is more fascinating to watch than AP nowadays LOL

lol I know what you mean. Observing my snakes are my animal planet haha. I miss the days of actual herp shows on AP when jeff corwin or steve irwin would stumble upon boas in the amazon, or carpets in australia.

NatGeoWILD is pretty good for animal-based shows

I remember when Discovery used to show wildlife shows back in the 80's. Then when Animal Planet came around, I was excited to see animal shows again, and at times, they aired a decent amount of reptile stuff. Not any more. I don't care about "Dog Whisperer", or "Too Cute", I want to see nature related programming.

I have started watching my nature shows on Oasis. Haven't seen any crappy animal related reality tv there .....yet.

I hate animal planet. I watch the BBC America channel, they always have cool stuff on when I get on.

Aw man I miss these shows so bad...
Animal Planet is sh*tty now. Nothing but a bunch of stupid reality shows. I miss wildlife documentaries.

Watched northwoods law tonight. Game warden picks up an adult snapping turtle up by its tail after it walked off the road on its own.
