Some new additions..

hey guys I got a couple new hondo's this week. A male 2013 vanashing pattern from an extreme line came from my buddy Craig, and a 2012 female from him as well. She is in shed in the pic. Also I got a 2011 female extreme hypo from a member here who was in a crunch for space. Thanks again Jim, she is as fiesty as ever! She is the nicest female extreme I have ever seen. The pic is when she was a hatchling. I hope you guys like them!

Very nice looking additions to your growing collection. I really like all of them, but as you know I'm partial to the extreme hypos. She is a real beauty but as you said she's also feisty.

Many thanks guys! One of my females has gone thru her second post brumation shed and is hopefully ready to breed. My stud male should be shedding tonight or tomorrow and will be shacked up with her as soon as he does. I am really looking forward to see what happens!!

Good news! My male shed this morning. I decided to put him in with 3 different females today for several hours at a time. He was not very interested in 2 of the females, one of them was the one who just had her second shed. However when I put him in with Na'gini my newest female it was game time! As soon as he was placed in her rack he was all over her. He chased her around, got on top of her and would not leave her alone. I didn't see them lock up but there was a HUGE difference in his behavior while he was in with her. They are probably going to spend the night toghether:).

Oh and I did dim the lights!

Very good news!! I have seen my male lock up with 2 of my females so far. I'm hoping that the others are just taking a little extra time to ovulate. It's pretty obvious when he is put in with a female and he likes her "smell"..lol..

Also this past weekend I was able to get a C Serpents V70 10 unit open rack! It's a freaking beast!C Serpents Rack Systems (http://www.cserpents.com/C_Serpents_Hot_Box/RACK_SYSTEMS.html)
Chris makes a top notch product,and has blistering fast communication. I would highly recommend him. I will try to post some snake porn pics and some pics of the rack all set up here in the next few days.( my internet and cable have been out for almost a week!!)

Lol, things were getting a little hot and heavy in there! Im pretty sure my pin banded female is gravid. She is all swollen up like a sausage. Poor thing, she looks like she is going to pop. Got another pic of Apollo and Athena snuggled up. Hope you guys like.

As always, gorgeous snakes! From the looks of things you may have several nice clutches of eggs this year and loads of beautiful looking baby snakes. Then comes the hard part. You'll have to decide which to keep and which to part with;)

Ziggy,Jim,Sharthun,..Thanks guys I am very excited and nervous at the same time. Constantly I wonder about fertility rates in both my male and females. I worry about my females not being large enough to lay eggs and then becoming egg bound.(All my breeder females are at least 3 years, at least 3 ft, and at least 300grams). Time will tell i suppose...Oh and I finally got a camera that takes decent pics so hopefully my pics arent as crappy as days past!

The sausage in her egg laying container. I used organic peat moss as a medium. Home Depot had 50lb cubes of it for like 14 bucks.
