Pet Store Surprise!

So I go to my local pet store yesterday to buy some feeders. They have a decent sized common boa there that I say hi to every time I go in. So I'm sitting there looking at the boa not even noticing what's above. I look up and a DIAMOND python is chilling in the tank above looking right at me!! I was shocked! Probably the only time I'll ever see a diamond in a pet store again! I asked one of the workers when they got him in and they told me a guy just dropped him off a couple weeks ago. Who would just "drop off" a diamond python to a local pet store?! Anyway, they had him listed for $299.00 which I thought was a complete STEAL (wish I had the money)!! It's a complete shame I couldn't buy him because this particular pet store takes pretty poor care of their reptiles. They had this diamond in a tank with repti-carpet and literally nothing else in there. No perch, no hide...nothing! Naturally, I had to take him out for some handling and got the misses to snap a pic. Here he is (sorry it's not the greatest pic)....

I think that's a DiamondxJungle, still really nice though and worth the money I think.

sweet! Love pet store "finds"! got a lot of mine that way...most of them don't know what they even have...have seen lots of corns listed as okeetees or just baby corns and they are really nice morphs...and not even okeetees...my AC garter was listed as a CORN! some pet stores are just totally clueless...

I wish the store wasn't so bad either. It's the only exotic pet store anywhere near me. I must admit though, it is better than the local Petsmart/Petco. But that's not hard.....

if your looking for a pure Diamond in the USA,there are some good bloodlines available mate

that snake in your picture looks like a Diamond Jungle (a good looking one)
