This may be a dumb question, but I've never kept White's frogs before.
My big frog was bright light green when I bought him and for several weeks. I noticed that the last few days he's gotten dark. He's almost brown in color, with the light green freckles. What's wrong?
My setup has Hydroballs as base, a big water dish, moss in the corners, and vines and fake leaves for climbing. It runs about 77-80F during the day and I mist once per day.
Is he ok or do I need to change something?
The other frog in the enclosure, a white-lipped tree frog, is still bright green.

they will change colors depending on their environment or mood...could be stress, or it could be it needs more light or lighter colors in it's viv to blend in with...(just what I've read, I read a lot...)

I would consider moving the white lipped to another terrarium. I'm not a fan of cohabbing. (Although it can be done) Next I would make the cage like a section of a rainforest. Easiest way, Take a good size pothos plant that appears to be bigger than the tank. Basically shove it in there and keep the entire base of the terrarium filled to almost an absurd amount. Use vines to let him utilize the covered area better as well as giving him a way to use the top area of the terrarium that isn't filled up with plants. When I had mine he loved it. Brown can mean stress, but sometimes they just do it. Not sure why. Post a picture of the setup.

I would go with a bigger tank, and fill up the bottom half with pothos.

These "light green freckles" are not normal. Often times its a bacterial, fungal infection or dehydration. Indonesian whites are usually WC so an infection be be the problem.
Changing colors from dark to bright is normal as others have said. Mine change every night.

What can I treat an infection with? The freckles are not always there; they only show up when he's dark and even then sometimes not.
