Steve, this is definitely a tricolored amel Honduran Milksnake with ZERO nelsoni influence whatsoever. I know the parental lineages very well and am literally the last person on the planet that would ever cross subspecies of any kind. The parents were both hypos het amel/anery (snow). :)

I was looking at milksnakes on the net the other day - so pretty. Didn't see one quite like that though. You almost need sunglasses to look at her, she's so bright. They are in the back of my mind as a snake I'd love to have. How is their disposition?

To answer your question, Hondos typically have nice dispositions. They are not usually prone to strike or bite like other King snakes and are mild mannered. The one drawback is that they tend to be shy and spend much of their day in a hide or under the bedding material. Great snakes though. Good eaters and very easy to handle.

I'm afraid that I beat you to that beautiful little Hybino. She's being shipped by Doug (as part of a trio with with two others hondos) to my house tomorrow (Monday) to arrive on Tuesday:) While it will be a while, I play to breed her and hopefully produce some more that look just like her which I will make available.

Yep, Jim Smith is the lucky recipient of this awesome trio. They are all in their individual deli cups ready to be shipped out later this afternoon. :)

I will also add that hatchlings and juvenile Hondurans, as well as most other milksnakes are typically very nervous and flighty when very small, but this disipates as they mature more and gain a bit more size. This is simply how they are "hard-wired" in nature for survival.

Have fun with these, and I'll email you the FedEx tracking number later on early this evening.
