My name is Sylwia, and three months ago I finally - after 13 years - has fulfilled my dream of having a snake (young Russian Rat Snake) :D. She (or maybe he, don't know yet) is my beloved little one, and really cool pet!
Now I still gain new knowledge and I'm looking forward to increase the collection of a couple of adults Russian, and maybe one little Hognose(which unfortunately are quite rare in Poland).
So, hello everyone, and have a nice day!

Hm, yesterday I post some pictures, but I see that they are still not there, so something must have gone wrong =D
Thank you guys for greetings, here in attachment are some photos of Artemis.
She (for now I presume that it is a female, as she gets older we'll go to the vet and check) hatched in May/June 2013 and now has about 20 inch.
Artemis is really an inquisitive little one, only when pulling out she trying to escape from the "big scary man who wants to eat her." Fortunately calms down when she is on the hands so I can easily take pictures.
I hope that you like her! I have a lot of pictures, but I think that much is enough for the welcome.

She looks very similar to my black rat snake, Onyx! Very nice snake :)

Thank you! And Onyx is really cool snake, I regret that Arty as an adult will be black and yellow :)

Ahh yes, google just showed me lol.. could easily be mistaken for a corn snake!

Yeah, I had to choose garter snake, corn snake or russian rat snake, even though the russian are in Poland quite rare, I could not resist. The greatest advantage is that they grow a little more massive than corn, and supposedly are also more courageous and curious... although with Artemis it is still hard for me to judge :)

Thank you :)
I hasten to boast that probably in this month will come to me an adult couple of Russian Rat Snake, I can't wait! Especially that they were in hibernation and will be ready for reproduction.
Have a nice day!

Here are the larger size of these pictures, I didn't know that they come out so tiny :)
(and I still can't insert the url, so that way goes a bit chaotic)
