Hey guys,
for a 5-6 foot carpet, could a 36x24x18 cage work? Also, does anyone have opinions on boaphile cages?
Thanks guys

Short answer, yes but bigger would be better.

A 48x24x24 is the best size for an adult carpet. I think you will find a 6' snake is cramped in a 3' cage.

For perspective..
This is an adult jungle in a 28inchx24x24

And adults in 4x2x15's

I think any carpet would appreciate at least 4 feet of floor space, and some room to climb(you can make 15" height work, but obviously more is better)

Tank should be at least half as long as snake is, example 6 foot snake, 3 foot tank, but yes, longer and tall is better

I kept my 5-6ft carpet in a 4x2x2 ft viv and felt it was too small. To my mind it isnt as juch the size of the snake as the activity levels. My carpet was active A LOT and used every single inch of floor and climbing space available to him.
In the future if money allows me to rebuld my collection i would use a 6x3x3 for any carpets.

Alright. Do you guys build your enclosures, as otherwise it must be very expensive. If so, are there instructions for how to build one, lol?

my rainbow is in a 3ft tank at the moment, and she seems to barely have room to move around, she is just shy of 5ft...we have a new enclosure for her, just getting it set up and ready to move into...
