Still need 1 hide in the bottom enclosure but she is still using it in her tank, plus their water bowls, but here they are so far...

Very nice enclosures Sharlynn. What substrate are you using?

its a mix of eco-earth and coco-husk...found them both in compressed bricks...I only used half the water, though, I don't like to have to squeeze it out...once I find some pure cypress in smaller pieces, I may mix some of that in as well...

they are melamine enclosures...I wanted 40w RHP's but he was out, so I grabbed 80...figured when we get enclosures for the higher temp snakes, we will get the 40's then and then switch them out, if need be...it was only $20 more for the 80w, so no big deal, there...I already have a 40 for my GTP (when he finally gets here...ugh)...so I haven't had any true RHP "experience"...LOL...but I hear they are "the way to go"! so excited to see the difference! I worry about "thermal blocking" with the UTH's since some of mine are in glass tanks...but once I am done, my corns, garter, and 1 other one may be the only ones left in glass...we may even upgrade them...we will see :) hubby wants matching enclosures for everyone...LOL

Lol, I want 2 more t10's so mine will all match! The 40 watt rhp's effective heating distance is about 12 inches, the 80's will be much more efficient for taller and larger enclosures. The 40's work great in my t10's that are 15 inches tall with about 3 inches of substrate.

the rainbows only need an 82-84 hot spot...(I believe his name is Mark) from boa master said the 40 would work, but I'm not afraid to keep the 80's if others think they are better for the enclosure size...our others require 88-90ish hot spots so 80's are definitely the way to go, because their enclosures will be the same size, MAYBE a bit higher if we can find them that size affordable...I think he does custom sizes, but I don't want to pay double for 6 more inches of height...that will probably be next year, anyway...so not toooo concerned just yet...LOL
